SummaryThe article explains the scandal of Rishi Sunak, the prime minister of the UK, using a private jet three times in just 10 days for a short journey and also includes information about some celebrities or other wealthy people who often use private jets for traveling. The author points out some positive aspects of a private jet, but the majority of the time is focused on how much pollution it can produce compared to other types of transportation and the negative impact it can have in the future. However, there is also a solution for this matter by using sustainable aviation fuel, and they are also looking for aviation technology that can solve climate issues too.

Reaction: After reading the article, it helped me understand more about air pollution and how some people don't care much about climate change but only care about their own convenience and to show off. I understand that their are people, like celebrities or people who has high position would be worried about their own safety, but please use private jets only when it is necessary. If it's just a short journey that isn't far, they could use bulletproof cars or find other alternatives that produce less pollution. Lastly, I hope that we can really find a way to reduce global warming or find a way to change people's subconscious minds.

Question

  • How long has air pollution been a problem?
  • Why are we destroying our planet if we are the smartest species on the planet?
  •  How dirty is jet fuel? Can it be banned?

  1. I also agree with the idea “ used it when necessary “ it really hard to told them for some reason, they are having various business to look at, they are important person to show up somewhere and need to fast travel as fast as they can due to their time is run by money. Hopefully they will realize more about the air quality and the climate change that are the biggest issues we are facing today.
