Summery: This news article focuses on the poisoning of schoolgirls across Iran; some parents claim that there was some kind of spray in the school that caused the poisonings, but some students reported that there were also smells of gas. The chemical that was used to create the poison hasn't been identified. However, according to the IRIB, the poison isn't very dangerous, and hundreds of students still need to be taken to the hospital after reports of smelling gas. Furthermore, no one had been arrested yet, but many people believe that this event happened because of people who wanted to prevent girls from seeking education or as revenge. Because school girls have a huge impact on the Islamic Republic by protesting against strict dressing rules, and it all started since the death of Masha Amini, who died in the hospital after she was detained by morality police who accused her of breaking Iran's strict dress code.

reaction: After I finished reading the news, I began to dig in for more information about it, and luckily there aren't any death reports from the school poisoning event yet. Furthermore, I'm surprised that the poisoning has been happening since November 2022 at Isfahan University, and for the past 3–4 months, around 800 students have been affected all over the country. Each student who got affected by it would show many symptoms differently; some might have nausea, coughing, or even vomiting. As for me, who is also a schoolgirl, I feel bad for them and hope that every woman in Iran could get their own freedom. It also makes me wonder: What can we do to help them? Can huge organizations like UNICEF protect the children in Iran? because right now, the Islamic Republic has already unleashed its violence against its own people and killed more than 500 people, including children, during the protest. I personally have never participated in any protests before, but I respect everyone who is still fighting for their freedom and equality. Lastly, RIP to every life that was lost during the protest. 💓

Question:-  Are there any boys who got affected by the poison?

                -  Who will be responsible if a student dies because of the poison?

  1. Wow, After reading this article it makes me realize that girls in Iran they’re facing a very difficult situation to live in there. Who will be stand for students if they are got the affects of poison? There is no one will call out to protect them and they should think more about humans rights, freedom to make their lives getting better.

  3. Thank for sharing the news, I never head about this sad thing before so I wonder why are they really don't want the girls to seeking education or they afraid of girls would be smarter and more power than the man? I think it's very cruel to have a poison to hurt the girl just because want the boys have more prominent than girls. However, rest in peace to all their lost.
